IMPACT INVESTMENT SERVICES
Anicap Venture Partners provides assistance to governments, donors or development financial institutions that wish to introduce subsidy, guarantee or private equity programs to improve entrepreneur or SME access to business development services, training or bank and growth financing. And most important, we aim to create incentives to crowd in private investors and financial institutions.
BUSINESS SUPPORT SERVICES
Anicap can be engaged to design and establish small enterprise support platforms to attend to capability gaps, such as by establishing incubation platforms for entrepreneurs or new cluster development strategies for small and medium enterprises that improve their access to new capacity, markets and finance. We pool resources to ensure better coordination and efficiency improvements.

OUR TEAM
DAVID MONKMAN
David Monkman serves as AniCap’s Chief Executive Officer and brings over 20 years’ experience in impact investing, venture development, and program/product development and has managed more than 25 projects and 120 people. He has set up two companies from scratch, led teams at three others, and initiated/evaluated feasibility for 11 pilot projects. He has been a featured public speaker at conferences in more than 14 countries. David has a MSc in Patterns of Economic Development from the London School of Economics.
LUCIANA
DIAZ FRERS
Luciana Díaz Frers has been an economist for 23 years working with the private sector, civil society organizations and the public sector on international economics, fiscal policies, budget analysis, and transparency. She worked at IERAL, CIPPEC and the General National Audit in Argentina. She is National Director of Fiscal and Income Policies at the Argentine Ministry of Economics, currently measuring public spending on childhood and gender budgets. She has a MSc in Economic History at the London School of Economics.

QURESHI
Amer Qureshi is a chartered accountant and management consultant with a passion for helping businesses grow. Following a successful career in the professional service environment which included building a highly successful firm in Canberra, Amer held CFO positions in international organizations and worked in a wide range of industry sectors in emerging markets. A graduate of the Australian National University, he has also completed an Executive Education Program at the Harvard Business School. Amer is the author of three books on Small Business and Finance.
MOHAMMED
ARIF
Mohammed Arif is a highly credible, masters level professional with 20+ years of experience of Learning and Development, Nationals Development and project delivery within banking, entrepreneurship, and education sector. He experienced professional able to create implement and review training and transformations strategy withing SMEs and large financial sector corporate. Mohammed has recently been lead consultant to several banks Qatar financial centre developing their corporate training plan, Nationalisation strategy and working closely with the C-suite to create & review department KPIs and cascade into individual training plans for each team leader.
Anicap Venture Partners was registered in South Africa in 2002 as a Private Limited corporation. With seven partners, it operated four years there before expanding into new markets. Over the years since then, our services have matured to reflect the sophistication of Anicap's partners and their years of practice in these service areas.
Today Anicap is a different kind of professional services firm. We are global. We are virtual. We come from complementary disciplines that contribute to Anicap's vision as the project requires. Whether in blended finance, integrated services, technology integration or new markets, our team adapts to meet the needs of the project.
