SMALL ENTERPRISE SUPPORT EXPERT

Youth Enterprise Development

Led five country directors across MENA in the identification of new high impact support programs for youth-led enterprise development so international NGO could pilot youth enterprise programs and scale across the region. SILATECH, Qatar and MENA, 1/2014-4/2014.

Women Entrepreneurship

Women entrepreneurship support program. Led team in development of program strategy associated with originating a USD 20 million loan to the Government of Armenia so it could improve women participation in business. ASIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK, Armenia, 6/2012-8/2012.

Secured design funding and conceptualized a national virtual incubation and mentorship program – the ASPIRE program – developing the investment readiness of marginalized entrepreneurs, which result in proprietary deal flow that makes syndication with private equity investors possible. FINMARK TRUST, South Africa, 5/2004-6/2005.

The importance of Incubators. Provided expert testimony to the US Congress and co-drafted new incubation legislation; member of expert advisory panel for the Atlanta Fed to consider incubation’s role in job creation processes, informing bank policy.  NBIA, Ohio, 8/2009-2/2012.
